We are looking for someone who is:

  • Preferably experienced in working in a production and warehouse environment
  • A self-starter with good people skills
  • Experienced in Quality Control (an advantage but not essential as full training will be given)
  • Forklift trained (preferred but not essential)
  • Able to use computers to a basic level
  • Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths and English.

You will be working in a warehouse environment between two sites within a 5 mile radius of Wadhurst, East Sussex; due to the locations you must have your own transport.

You will:

  • Ensure that all production lines are supplied for daily filling requirements
  • Conduct, record and report on findings from regular QC checks
  • Mix and change over IBC's, flushing out to minimise downtime
  • Coordinate and ensure that all yard duties are carried out
  • Unload and load deliveries as well as carry out van driving duties
  • Communicate when stock is running low to the Support Supervisor.

Due to the location of our warehouse (near Wadhurst in East Sussex) you must have your own transport.

You will:

  • Pick and Pack orders ensuring their timely despatch
  • Ensure the accurate collation of orders
  • Ensure individual customer requirements are followed
  • Organise daily transport bookings
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate when they are running low.

The Role:

Improve consumer website engagement with all group websites by implementing projects to enhance consumer experience, boost website performance and clearly communicate the companies' distinct competitive advantages.

You Will:

  • propose & implement projects to improve our consumers' digital experience and the communication of the companies' distinct competitive advantages
  • ensure consistent application of best practice and pro-actively identify opportunities and propose action to improve the performance of digital channels
  • make sure that the team's output is consistent with brand guidelines and facilitates clear communication of brand messages
  • manage the daily allocation, prioritisation, scheduling and delivery of the team's actions via the helpdesk
  • ensure the team's work is compliant with known legislation and stay informed of regulatory and best practice developments that may affect us
  • provide support, guidance and expertise to the website developers and content administrators particularly with regard to HTML, PHP, CSS and understanding of web database design
  • be responsible for the management of consumers into our database.

You Will Be:

  • experienced in website development and management, with competence in PHP and JavaScript
  • knowledgeable regarding analytics software (such as Google Analytics, email) to assess site performance for ongoing monitoring and management purposes
  • a multi tasker with excellent communication skills and able to drive a deliver projects to schedule
  • skilled in using e-commerce platforms and Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • experienced in using HTML, CSS, and Adobe design packages such as Dreamweaver and Photoshop
  • familiar with using digital campaign tools e.g. Google AdWords, tracking and tagging software such
  • as Google Tag Manager, email such as Dotmailer or MailChimp.

The successful applicant will be based at home but will be required to attend our offices in Wadhurst, East Sussex, at least once a week.
