We are looking for someone who is:

  • Preferably experienced in working in a production and warehouse environment
  • A self-starter with good people skills
  • Experienced in Quality Control (an advantage but not essential as full training will be given)
  • Forklift trained (preferred but not essential)
  • Able to use computers to a basic level
  • Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths and English.

You will be working in a warehouse environment between two sites within a 5 mile radius of Wadhurst, East Sussex; due to the locations you must have your own transport.

You will:

  • Ensure that all production lines are supplied for daily filling requirements
  • Conduct, record and report on findings from regular QC checks
  • Mix and change over IBC's, flushing out to minimise downtime
  • Coordinate and ensure that all yard duties are carried out
  • Unload and load deliveries as well as carry out van driving duties
  • Communicate when stock is running low to the Support Supervisor.

Due to the location of our warehouse (near Wadhurst in East Sussex) you must have your own transport.

You will:

  • Pick and Pack orders ensuring their timely despatch
  • Ensure the accurate collation of orders
  • Ensure individual customer requirements are followed
  • Organise daily transport bookings
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate when they are running low.

Páramo Directional Clothing designs durable garments for outdoor people who want to stay comfortable in all weathers and environments. The Role:

This is a role where you can have a truly tangible impact on our sustainability performance across all our operations, as well as help shape our sustainability strategy and goals.

You Will:

Improve the companies' sustainability performance by assisting with the development and implementation of a sustainability strategy and associated projects to achieve objectives and targets as defined bys

  • undertaking project management as directed, managing both internal stakeholders and external consultants where appointed
  • working with the Sustainability Director and the Group Product & Brand Director
  • proposing plans and improvements to product sustainability for both brands
  • improving sustainability credentials of the value chain up and downstream across the group as identified
  • understanding sustainability standards and certifications and establish sustainability performance indicators to bring the organisation in line
  • implementing methods to ensure effective communication of business ethics, sustainability targets and performance both internally and externally
  • assisting with the development of a strategy and mechanism to engage our Partners.

You Will Be:

  • fully informed and with extensive knowledge of current sustainability issues
  • ideally experienced working within the outdoor industry
  • an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing
  • able to prioritise and focus activity in a strategically effective manner
  • creative and well organised with proven project management skills
  • educated to a degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant subject or field.

The successful applicant will be based at home but will be required to attend our offices in Wadhurst, East Sussex, at least once a week.
