Nikwax Sports Refresh effectively removes odours caused by sweat, dirt and bacteria from your activewear. It helps fabrics perform better, keeping your activewear smelling fresh and keeping you comfortable for longer.
Why does activewear get so smelly?
The warm, damp conditions when you exercise cause the bacteria found on our bodies to thrive in sportswear and produce nasty odours.
Normal detergents mask these odours with fragrance, rather than completely washing them out of the fabric. This means odours come back rapidly.
Detergents and fabric conditioners also leave residue that reduces the performance of activewear fabrics, reducing its ability to dry rapidly. This means more moisture, more bacteria, and more smell!

Use Nikwax Sports Refresh in the washing machine...
Top tip: Use undiluted Nikwax Sports Refresh to treat stubborn stains before washing.
Important: Shake bottle before use. Do not use with fabric softener. Do not use on waterproof clothing.
- Add 50ml (1 capful) of Sports Refresh to detergent dispenser.
- Wash according to care label.
Hand Wash (use gloves):
Use gloves.
- Immerse item(s) in 7.5L of warm water.
- Use 25ml of Sports Refresh.
- Agitate to mix, leave to soak for 5 minutes, then agitate thoroughly.
- Rinse with cold water until water runs clear.
Drying: Air dry or tumble dry on a low setting if care label allows.
